She closed her eyes, breathed deeply & forgot about everything else for a while; she just wanted to see them... That minute of peace where she'll be the happiest, so she imagined it:
A little child with black straight hair, a clear skin yet not so much, brown eyes, thin lips and a beautiful huge smile.
She asked herself if he'll be quiet or talkative, in any case she was sure about he'll be curious, very curious; will he be smart like him? Or silly like her? She laughed over it. Would he be as sweet as her or as cute as him? In any case he would be a lovely kid, certainly, a lovely one.
And the girlie? How would she be? Pretty clear skin, pretty dark eyes, curly and light brown hair *she wished*, lips? Thin lips? Or not? In any case both parents have thin lips so she'll have them as well, probably & obviously a huge smile like her brother.
Would she laugh over everything? Or will she be a calm child? She will probably be such a sweetheart, a very tender child, hopefully a good one as well or a tornado? She laughed, she'll get crazy with a tornado daughter yet she'll have fun anyways.
Hopefully both kids will wear real smiles, not the kind of smiles that you fake, but the kind of smile that you feel. She remembered for a second how smiley she used to be when she was a kid, how everybody would smile back to her and how she used to believe smiling to people was such a great thing; and, how now she barely does that unless she really feels like doing it.
She imagined their children playing around, being very active kids, laughing loudly while she tickles them, smiling openly while their dad tell them a story, sleeping while she and him kiss them good night. It was just perfect, simply perfect...
But she opened her eyes and it was just a dream, she whispered. Life wasn't a thing to dream and get but something you gotta fight for; she smiled openly anyways, remembering that even through all she was ready to give it all, to go for it, to get her goals, to achieve her dreams.
And, finally, she closed her eyes one more time:
She was stood behind a couch and he was sit down there... so she just put her arms around his neck while he was sit down watching a football game with her and she felt the happiness of holding her world so safely for a second, the happiness of share a moment with the one you love the most, the happiness of being right next to him and she fell asleep like that, smiling over her real dreams and laughing over her fake reality.
Because the dream itself was real and her life wasn't. Because he with her was real, and they being away wasn't... Because they were together, always together, it's just that in a not common way, but a special one, that's how they were, that's how they are, until that real moment will arrive in the fake reality for it to be turn into a real one.

I bet you remember.
